막탄-세부 국제공항, 필리핀 최초 ACI 고객경험인증제 획득

Mactan-Cebu airport gets customer experience accreditation from Airports Council International

The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) has become the first airport in the Philippines to receive the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation for Airport Service Quality from the Airports Council International (ACI).
“This accomplishment reflects our commitment to raising the bar and setting new standards for customer service and satisfaction in the airport sector,” Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) General Manager and CEO Julius Neri Jr. said in a statement.
At present, the organization’s customer experience accreditation program invites participating airports to a comprehensive review and training sessions that include stakeholder and employee engagement, and staff development.

필리핀 관광부가 막탄-세부국제공항(MCIA, Mactan-Cebu International Airport)이 최근 국제공항협의회(ACI)에서 주관하는 '고객경험인증제(Customer Experience Accreditation)'에서 필리핀 공항 가운데 최초로 인증패를 수여했다고 발표했다.
국제공항협의회(ACI, Airport Council International)는 공항의 관리 및 발전과 협력을 위해 설립된 비영리 단체로, 세계 171개국 1,925개 공항 협의 조직이다.
'고객경험인증제'는 국제공항협의회가 전 세계 공항의 고객 서비스 관리와 활동을 평가하기 위해 지난 2019년 도입한 프로그램이다.
크리스티나 가르시아-프라스코 필리핀 관광부 장관은 "막탄-세부 국제공항은 그 동안 탑승객들의 축구 체크인 과정을 편리화하고, 레스토랑, 쇼핑 등의 고객 편의 시설을 다양화하는 등 공항을 이용하는 고객 서비스 만족도 향상을 위해 끊임없이 노력해 왔고, 필리핀 최초의 인증패 획등은 그 동안의 노력을 성과로 인정받은 일"이라고 소감을 전했다.
연간 이용객 1,100만 명을 기록하는 막탄-세부 국제공항은 필리핀에서는 두 번째로 큰 공항으로, 총 25개의 항공사가 36개의 국내선과 27개의 국제선 노선을 취항하고 있다.
