LTO7, 2022년 도로교통법 위반자 605명 운전면허 정지

Licenses of 605 drivers suspended by LTO 7 for road violations in ‘22

A TOTAL of 605 drivers had their licenses suspended by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 after they were caught violating traffic rules and regulations in 2022.
LTO 7’s Operations Division, particularly its Traffic Adjudication Section, made the report public following the request of LTO 7 Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec to see the inventory of subpoenas issued and cases dispensed with license suspensions last year.
Based on the LTO 7 data, November had the most number of suspended driver’s licenses with total recorded cases of 91 drivers.
The year started with 33 suspended drivers in January, 66 in February, 85 in March, 39 in April, 42 in May, 51 in June, 19 in July, 21 in August, 36 in September, 85 in October and 65 in December.
Caindec warned motorists to always follow traffic rules and regulations to avoid apprehension and confiscation.
He explained that aside from the confiscated licenses, the term period of the suspension varies on the gravity of the violation infraction.
A total of 29 subpoenas were issued following the complaints received by the agency on the violations of the said drivers.

총 605명에 달하는 운전자가 지난 2022년 교통법규를 위반한 혐의로 LTO(Land Transportation Office) 7에 의해 면허가 취소되었다.
LTO(Land Transportation Office) 7의 운영부서 중 교통심사 부서는 LTO(Land Transportation Office)의 요청에 따라 보고서를 공개했다.
이에 따르면 작년 11월에 운전면허 정지 건수가 가장 많아 총 91건을 기록했다.
1월에 33명, 2월에 66명, 3월에 85명, 4월에 39명, 5월에 42명, 6월에 51명, 7월에 19명, 8월에 21명, 9월에 36명, 10월에 85명, 12월에는 65명을 각각 기록했다.
LTO(Land Transportation Office) 7은 운전자들에게 체포, 차량 압수, 운전면허 정지나 취소 등의 처벌을 피하기 위해 항상 교통법규와 규정을 준수하라고 경고했다.
압수된 면허의 정지 기간은 위반 정도에 따라 다르다고 관계자는 설명했다.
해당 운전자의 위반 사항에 따라 기관이 접수한 불만사항을 기재한 총 29건의 소환장이 발부되었으며, 소환장을 받아본 교통법규 위반 운전자는 혐의에 대해 답변할 툭정기간을 부여 받는다.
LTO(Land Transportation Office) 7은 또한 무작위 검문소를 운영해 운전자들이 도로 안전을 유지하기 위한 교통 규칙과 규정을 잘 준수하는 지 확인하겠다고 밝혔다.
