에어아시아, 비사야 민다나오 지역 증편 운항

AirAsia Philippines increases flight frequency to VisMin

In anticipation of the travel surge for the holidays, AirAsia Philippines announced that it is increasing its flight frequency to its Visayas and Mindanao destinations.
“Our focus at AirAsia is to make sure our brand of affordable world-class air service is available to Filipinos during seasons they need it most. The growth in our number of flights to various destinations comes timely as we brace for the holiday exodus. And we aim to sustain this high demand going to 2023 by having promos like the PISO sale intended for travels happening next year,” said AirAsia Chief Executive Officer Ricky Isla.
The world’s best low-cost airline observes a robust upward trend toward end-year as it ends October with a 90 percent load factor – two percent shy of its pre-pandemic records in the same month.

연말 연시를 앞두고 휴가와 여행객 급증을 예상하며 에어아시아 필리핀은 비사야와 민다나오 지역으로 운항을 증편하겠다고 발표했다.
"에어아시아는 세계적인 수준의 저가 항공 서비스 브랜드를 필리핀 지역에서 사람들이 가장 필요로 하는 계절에 이용할 수 있도록 할 것이다. 다양한 목적지로 가는 항공편 수의 증가는 휴가철에 대비하여 시기 적절하게 이루어질 것이며, 2023년까지 여행을 위한 항공편 수요가 계속적으로 증가할 것으로 보고 있다." 라고 에어 아시아의 최고경영자 리키 이슬라 씨는 밝혔다.
에어아시아는 지난 10월 90%에 달하는 예약율을 소화하면서 연말까지 강력한 수요 증가를 예측하고 있다.
11월 1월부터 에어아시아 필리핀은 마닐라-세부, 마닐라-타클로반, 마닐라-까띠끌란, 마닐라-카가얀 데 오로 그 외 다바오와 일로일로, 푸에르토 프린세사 등지를 잇는 항공편이 증편되었다.
에어아시아 필리핀은 11월과 12월부터 필리핀 각 지를 오가는 해외 여행이 증가할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
이에 따라 마닐라-방콕 국제선은 주 11회, 서울 인천 노선은 10회 증편했으며 홍콩 항공편도 12월까지 주 3회로 늘렸다.
