세부지역 대중교통 요금 인상

New fare increase takes effect today

The new fare increase for public utility vehicles is set to take effect starting today, October 3, 2022.
But Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-7 Regional Director Eduardo Montealto Jr. warned that those transport vehicles that has no new fare matrix are not allowed to collect the new fare.
“Reminder lang sa atong publiko nga pwede pa mo moplete sa karaan nga pletehan kung ang inyong gisakyan wala pa silay bag-ong fare matrix o taripa,” Montealto told The Freeman.
Montealto said that collecting the new fare increase without fare matrix is tantamount to overcharging.
Overcharging, he said, carries a penalty of P5,000 for the first offense; P10,000 for the second offense, and P15,000 for the third offense and impounding of a unit for 30 days.
Montealto said that except for UV Express, all other denominations such as public utility jeepneys, taxi, bus and TNVS increase their respective fare starting today, which is 15 days after the LTFRB issued a decision on September 16, 2022.

10월 3일부터 세부 지역의 대중교통 요금이 인상되었다.
육상교통 프랜차이즈 및 규제위원회 세부 비사야 지부는 새로운 요금을 징수하는 미터가 없는 차량은 인상된 요금을 승객에게서 징수할 수 없다고 권고했다.
"차량에 새로운 요금 미터가 없는 경우, 기존의 요금을 계속 사용할 수 있다는 사실을 대중에게 알려달라."라고 관계자는 말했다.
부정요금을 초과 징수하는 경우 첫번째 위반에 대해서는 5천페소의 벌금, 두번째 위반에는 1만 페소의 벌금, 세번째 위반 시에는 1만 5천페소의 벌금과 30일 동안의 운행정지 조치가 내려진다.
UV익스프레스를 제외하고 지프니, 택시, 버스 등의 공공요금이 일제히 올랐다.
현대화된 지프니의 경우 인상된 최소 요금은 처음 4Km당 14페소이고, 이후 1킬로미터 마다 2.20페소씩 추가된다.
모든 지방버스의 인상된 최저요금은 11페소부터 시작된다.
택시의 경우 인상된 요금은 45페소부터 시작된다.
공항택시 요금은 75페소부터 시작된다.
승객들은 부정한 요금이나 과다청구를 받은 경우 연중무휴 24시간 핫라인 1342로 신고할 수 있다.
