세부주 지역을 운행하는 대중교통, 전체 용량 승객 허용

PUVs plying Cebu Province now allowed full capacity

Starting today, public utility vehicles in Cebu Province are now allowed to operate at full capacity.
Governor Gwendolyn Garcia has issued an executive order “refining the regulations pertinent to the public transport vehicles operating within the Province of Cebu”.
As full seating capacity for PUVs are already allowed, Garcia reminded the drivers of public transport vehicles like taxi, bus, mini bus, jeepney and UV Express that jump seats and standing on the aisles while the vehicle is in transit are prohibited.
The drivers and conductors are also required to wear face mask. Wearing of personal air purifier, however, is no longer mandatory but “highly encouraged”.
Operators are required to submit their vehicles to a regular disinfection.
“PUV shall regularly disinfect all surfaces, especially seats, armrests, and handles, with disinfecting agents and ultraviolet germicidal light. Driver and conductors are required to wear face masks while wearing of personal air purifier is strongly encouraged,” read a portion of the EO No. 7 of Garcia issued on February 28, 2022.

세부 주를 운행하는 대중교통은 이제 100% 용량의 승객을 수용할 수 있게 되었다.
버스를 포함한 대중교통 차량은 세부주 지역에서 최대 용량으로 운행할 수 있다.
가르시아 세부 주지사는 지난 3월 1일 대중교통 제한을 더욱 완화하는 행정명령을 발표했다.
각 대중교통의 전체 좌석은 100% 승객의 수용이 가능하며, 택시, 버스, 미니버스, 지프니, UV익스프레스 등에도 적용되나 다만 승객이 운행 중인 차량의 통로에 서는 것은 여전히 금지된다.
운전자와 차장은 마스크를 반드시 착용해야 하며, 개인용 공기청정기 착용은 의무가 아니지만 강력히 권장된다.
운전자는 차량을 정기적으로 소독해야 한다.
"각 대중교통 차량은 소독제와 자외선 살균 등으로 모든 표면을 닦되, 특히 좌석, 팔걸이, 손잡이를 집중적이고 정기적으로 소독해야 한다."라고 2월 28일 가르시아 주지사가 발행한 행정명령은 명시하고 있다.
북부와 남부터미널에서 나가는 모든 대중교통 차량은 QR코드, 차량 번호, 여행날짜, 여정의 경로, 허용 좌석 수, 탑승 실제 승객 수, 마지막 보고사항 등이 포함된 내용을 소독과 운전자의 서명과 함께 제출해야 한다.
경찰은 각 대중교통의 건강보건기준 준수 여부를 모니터링하기 위한 검문소를 설치해야 한다.
정책을 위반한 것이 적발되면 목적지까지의 운행이 금지되며 LTFRB 및 LTO의 규정에 따라 제재를 받게 되고, 운영자는 피해를 입은 승객의 구제를 위해 목적지까지 운송할 다른 차량을 제공해야 한다.
