세부시경, 미성년자 극장 출입 금지 요청

CCPO wants minors banned from cinemas

The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) is recommending to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) the prohibition of minors with ages 15 and below to enter the cinemas considering that most of them aren't vaccinated yet.
According to Parilla, the CCPO welcomes the reopening of the cinemas in the city as it was also discussed with them in the EOC.
Parilla, however, said that they also expand their recommendation even up to prohibiting toddlers and infants from going out since they are the most vulnerable to the virus.
Meanwhile, Parilla said the request of CCPO to remain the curfew hours still stands, saying this helps regulate the movement of the public.
This is after Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama has announced that there could be a gradual lifting of the curfew.

세부시경찰은 세부시 코로나19 관련 긴급운영센터(EOC)에 만 15세 이하 미성년자가 아직 예방접종을 받지 않은 경우가 많은 점을 고려하여 세부지역의 영화관이 재 개관을 하더라도 입장을 금지하도록 조처해달라고 권고했다.
그러나 한편으로는 세부시경찰과 EOC모두 세부지역에서 영화관이 재 개관하는 것에 대해 환영의 의사를 표했다.
또 세부시경 관계자는 바이러스에 가장 취약한 영유아의 외출을 금지하는 수준까지 권고 범위를 확대한다고 덧붙였다.
또 CCPO는 세부지역의 통금시간을 현행 유지할 것이며, 대중의 이동을 통제하는 것이 효과적으로 바이러스의 확산을 막는데 도움이 된다고 믿는다고 밝혔다.
이보다 앞서 마이클 라마 세부시장 대행은 통행 금지를 점진적으로 해제할 수 있다고 밝힌 바 있다.
사실 현행 통금시간의 운영은 세부시내 일부 술집을 제외하고는 각 시설의 영업에 거의 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 여겨지고 있다.
세부시경은 일부 술집과 음식점 등이 건강 지침을 제대로 준수하지 않다는 보고가 여전히 접수되고 있다며, 이를 모니터링하기 위해 주말을 이용해 각 영업장을 점검하겠다고 밝혔다.
