마르코스 주니어, 대통령이 된다면 세부를 경제 허브로 계속 발전시키겠다!

Marcos: If I win as president, I will continue to develop Cebu as an economic hub

A presidential aspirant is promising to continue to develop Cebu as an economic hub by building more infrastructure to help it to grow further.
"Cebu is still the economic center of the Visayas. And in some areas, it’s actually the economic center of the Philippines,” said former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., stressing that big urban centers would be the hubs of development in the future.
Marcos said that should he be elected as president of the Philippines in next year’s election, then Cebu would be an important part of his development plan of the country.
"I think Cebu is right, ang mga Cebu (those from Cebu) have a strong entrepreneurial spirit that we can take advantage of in making better deals with public private sectors sharing,” he said.
"So that it is going to be important to have Cebu as part of the plan because Cebu has always had entrepreneurial tradition in all of the Philippines. So that development should be felt as soon as we can bring the economy back from the pandemic,” he said.

마르코스 주니어 대통령후보는 자신이 대통령으로 당선된다면 세부지역이 더 성장하고 발전하도록 더 많은 인프라를 구축하여 세부를 필리핀의 경제 허브로 만들겠다고 공약했다.
"세부는 비사야제도의 경제 중심지이다. 또 세부의 일부지역은 실제로 필리핀의 경제적 중심지이다."라며 봉봉이라는 별명이 있는 마르코스 주니어가 밝혔다.
마르코스 주니어는 내년 선거에서 필리핀 대통령으로 선출된다면 세부는 필리핀 개발 계획의 중요한 부분이 될 것이라고 언급했다.
10월 22일 세부지역 주정부 회의에서 가르시아 세부 주정부 지사에게 호의를 표시한 마르코스 주니어 후보는 가르시아를 포함한 모든 사람들의 지지를 구한다고 표명했다.
자신도 주지사 경력이 있으며 현재는 대통령 후보인 마르코스 주니어는 가르시아 세부 주지사에게 훌륭하고 강력한 지방정부 지도자라고 치하하며 위기대처 방식에 대해 칭찬했다.
가르시아 세부주지사는 자신이 마르코스 주니어 후보와 오랫동안 친우였으며, 마르코스 주니어가 세부지역을 방문하는 동안 선거운동을 위해 지방유세를 순회할 수 있는지 허락을 구하더라고 전했다.
가르시아 세부주지사는 마르코스 주니어가 일로코스 노르테 지방의 주지사일때 서로 간 자매결연 협정을 맺으며 가르시아 주지사 역시 일로코스 노르테 지방을 방문하여 환대를 받은 적이 있다고 소회했다.
