세부시, 러시아산 스푸트니크 백신 접종 재개

Cebu City resumes Sputnik V jab today

The long wait is finally over for Cebu City residents, who received the first dose of Russia’s Sputnik V, with the arrival of over 5,000 doses of component 2 yesterday.
Ibones said the city initially received 200 the other day while the rest arrived yesterday following the request of the Visayas Vaccination Operation Center(VVOC).
Though the much-awaited vaccines have already arrived, Dr.Ibones continues appealing to the Cebuanos to wait for their respective schedules.
Ibones said their target ceis to administer the second dose in the next three days in two vaccination sites.
Some city residents are scheduled today while others on Friday. The rest of Sputnik V recipients will be on Saturday at the Noah Complex located at the South Road Properties, and University of Cebu on Alcantara Street.

9월 23일부터 러시아 산 스푸트니크V 백신의 접종이 세부시에서 재개되었다.
러시아에서 제공한 5,000회 도스 이상의 스푸트니크V 백신이 세부에 도착한 것이다.
지난 토요일에 스푸트니크 희망자들은 SRP의 Noah Complex와 UC대학에서 접종을 마쳤다.
그 외에도 세부시는 화이자 백신 8,000도스를 추가로 받았다.
마이클 라마 세부시장 대행은 중앙정부와 소통하여 세부 시에 60,000회 이상 분량의 추가 백신을 할당 받기로 약속했다.
