Protocol violators to face arrest — Rama

“Let them know we mean business.”

This was acting Mayor Michael Rama’s marching order to the police as far as enforcement of health protocols in the city is concerned amid the new surge in COVID-19 cases.
Rama has directed Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) director Col. Josefino Ligan to deploy police personnel to enforce health protocols down to the sitio level.
He explained that everybody should understand that the key to winning the fight against COVID-19 is to deny the virus of a host.

마이클 라마 세부시장 대행은 보건과 건강 관련한 검역조치를 어기는 위반자들을 체포하겠다고 진지하게 언급했다.
또, 경찰이 체포를 하겠다고 명령할 시 이의를 제기하거나 반항하지 말라고 경고했다.
그는 코로나19와의 긴 싸움에서 끝내 승리하려면 모두가 이해하고 바이러스를 예방하는 조치에 따라야 할 것이라고 거듭 강조했다.
라마 시장대행은 주민들에게 꼭 필요한 경우메만 외출을 하고, 책임감 있는 자유를 실천해달라고 호소했다.
