Mandaue to start mobile vaccination

Mandaue City is poised at bringing its COVID-19 vaccination program closer to residents who find it difficult to go to vaccination sites.
Yesterday, the city’s officials inspected a refurbished airport bus that will be used for the project and are set to schedule the training, orientation, and briefing of those who will operate what the city will call the Mandaue City Mobile Vaccine Clinic.
The mobile clinic is expected to start going around the city starting August 2021. It will support the inoculation at existing vaccination centers and will prioritize residents who are unable to travel like those who are bedridden, senior citizens who have problems in walking or transporting, and those who have severe comorbidities who cannot move voluntarily.

만다웨 시는 예방접종 장소까지 찾아가기 어려운 지역 주민들을 위해 백신 접종을 이동식으로 제공하는 방안을 마련하고자 계획했다.
이 프로젝트에는 공항버스를 개조하여 이동식 백신접종 공간을 마련하게 된다.
이동진료소는 8월부터 만다웨 지역 순회를 시작하게 된다.
거동이 불편한 노인, 보행이나 이동이 불편한 장애자, 자발적으로 움직일 수 없는 심각한 기저질환이 있는 사람들을 대상으로 한다.
이는 만다웨 지자체와 협력하여 필리핀 적십자사가 진행하는 프로젝트이다.
만다웨 시는 프로젝트의 현실화를 위해 필요한 모든 것을 신속하게 준비하기 위해 노력하겠다고 밝혔다.
