NBI-7 미성년 성매매 혐의로 유고슬라비아 출신 외국인 체포

NBI-7 arrests wanted foreign national

A 60-year-old foreign national, wanted for child prostitution and human trafficking in Angeles City, Pampanga since 2013, was arrested by the agents of National Bureau of Investigation Wednesday morning in Barangay Canamucan, Compostela, Cebu.
Steve Hidosan, a citizen of what was known as Yugoslavia in southeastern Europe, is facing seven counts of violation of Section 5(b) of Republic Act 7610 otherwise known as child prostitution and eight counts of Sections 3 and 4 in relation to Section 6 of R.A. 9208 or human trafficking.
Judge Bernadita Gabitan Erum of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Angeles City issued in 2013 an alias warrant for his arrest. NBI-7 director Atty. Rennan Oliva said Hidosan had been hiding in Compostela since the court issued his arrest warrant.

2013년부터 팜팡가 앙헬레스 시에서 미성년 성매매와 인신매매 혐의로 수배 중이던 60세의 유고슬라비아 출신 외국인이 어제 수요일 아침 세부지역 콤포스텔라에서 NBI-7요원들에 의해 체포되었다.
수사 관계자는 두가지 혐의 모두 필리핀에서 종신형에 처해질 수 있다고 언급했다.
필리핀 법원은 인신매매에 대한 보석은 허용하지 않으며, 미성년 성매매의 경우는 건당 20만페소의 보석금을 적용한다.
한편, 체포된 이 외국인은 합법적인 체류를 증빙하는 문건도 제시하지 못했으며, 지난 25년동안 콤포스텔라에서 아내와 아이들과 함께 거주하고 있다며 혐의를 부인했다.
NBI요원들은 그가 콤포스텔라 지역에서 다른 미성년 아이들에게도 피해를 입혔을 것으로 간주하고 여죄를 조사하고 있다.
