필리핀 보건부, 예방접종 완료한 사람도 마스크 착용 필수

DOH-7: Fully vaccinated persons should still wear facemasks

While the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States has allowed fully vaccinated people not to wear a facemask, the Department of Health in Central Visayas has said replicating such directive here is still “too premature.”
Department of Health-7 COVID-19 spokesperson Dr. Mary Jean Loreche recommended that fully vaccinated individuals should still continue wearing facemasks and observe other health protocols “until everyone is already vaccinated.”
CDC was reported as saying that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a facemask or stay 6 feet away from others in most settings, whether outdoors or indoors.

필리핀 보건부는 예방접종을 완료한 사람이라도 계속해서 마스크를 착용해야 하며 다른 건강관련 프로토콜도 모두 준수해야 한다고 권고했다.
예방접종을 받았다고 해서 더이상 감염될 위험성이 없다는 의미는 아니라는 것이다.
관계자는 필리핀 전체인구의 70 %이상이 예방접종을 다 완료하게 되더라도 여전히 마스크 착용은 필수일 것이라고 말했다.
필리핀 정부는 전체 인구의 70%까지 올해 안에 예방접종을 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
