세부시와 만다웨 지역 코로나19 예방접종 재개

Vaccination to resume in Cebu City, Mandaue

Cebu City and Mandaue City will resume vaccinating their residents this week following the arrival of 56,400 doses of Sinovac vaccines in Cebu on Friday.

Cebu City received 9,000 new doses and will resume vaccination tomorrow, Monday, May 3 at its vaccination sites at the University of Cebu-Banilad, Robinsons Galleria, and SM Seaside City.

City Health officer-in-charge Jeffrey Ibones said the 9,000 doses can be administered in a week.

The city will resume vaccination on Tuesday at the city sports complex. It targets to inoculate 24,097 senior citizens. So far, 1,080 senior citizens have been vaccinated.

The arrival of the 9,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines on Friday means Cebu has received up to 234,960 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from the national government.

Of this number, 203,960 doses are Sinovac and 30,000 are AstraZeneca.

세부에 지난 금요일 56,400회 분량의 시노백 백신이 추가로 도착하면서 세부시와 만다웨 지역 주민들을 대상으로 코로나19 예방접종이 재개되었다.

세부시는 9,000회 분량의 백신을 받아서 오늘 3일부터 UC바닐라드 캠퍼스와 로빈슨 갤러리아, SM 시사이드 등지의 예방접종 센터에서 예방접종이 재개된다.

그러나 시 보건당국의 담당자는 9,000회 분량은 일주일이면 전부 소진될 것이라고 예상했다.

예방접종 대상은 고력자를 위해 우선 배치되며, 예방접종 일정은 사전 등록한 사람들에게 문자와 전화로 고지된다.

시 보건당국의 담당자는 지역 주민 중 특히 노인들에게 온라인으로 등록하라고 촉구했다.

현재까지는 28,000명 이상의 노인과 31,000명의 기저질환이 있는 사람들이 이미 온라인으로 등록을 했다.

만다웨 시는 새로운 백신 중 1,600회 분을 할당 받았습니다. 노인을 위해 1,000회 접종 분량, 의료종사자를 위해 600회 분량이 배정되었다.

금요일 9,.000회 분량이 도착한 것까지 세부는 정부로부터 최대 234,960회분의 코로나19 백신을 받았다.

이 중 203,690회 분량은 시노백이고, 30,000회 분량은 아스트라제네카 백신이다.
