DOT seeks inclusion of tour guides, service providers in A4 list

The Department of Tourism (DOT) is pushing for the inclusion of tour guides, operators, and other accredited workers and service providers in the country's A4 vaccine priority group.

The DOT said it requested National Task Force Against Covid-19 chief implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. to expand the vaccination priority list and include the said workers as the nature of their jobs requires face-to-face interaction.

"Not only will vaccination protect these workers from the Covid-19 virus as we prepare to welcome foreign and domestic tourists; it also serves as a firewall of sorts that will restrict the spread of the virus in our tourist destinations," it said in a statement Tuesday.

필리핀 관광부는 필리핀에서 코로나19 관련 에방접종 프로그램을 관할하는 갈베즈 장관에게 관광 산업의 일선 근로자를 위한 예방 접종 우선 순위를 확대하여 여행 가이드, 운영자, 기타 공인된 근로자들을 포함해달라고 요청했습니다.

필리핀 관광부에 따르면 갈베즈 장관은 예방접종 우선 그룹에 공항과 검역 호텔의 근로자들을 포함시켰지만 다른 관광 그룹 중에 고객과의 대면이 필요한 근로자들이 빠졌습니다.

앞서 코로나19 백신의 제한도니 공급으로 정부는 백신의 공정한 할당을 보장하기 위해 우선 순위 목록을 만들었습니다.

A1 그룹
국가와 지역 보건 시설의 일선 근로자, 민간과 공공부문 보건 저문가

A2 그룹
60세 이상 노인

A3 그룹
위의 범주에는 포함되지 않은 동반 기저질환이 있는 사람

A4 그룹
유니폼을 입고 근무하는 직원을 포함한 필수 부문 최전선 근로자와 격리기간 동안 필수적인 직업 부문의 근로자

A5 그룹
이전 범주에는 포함되지는 않는 빈곤층

B1 그룹
교사와 사회복지사

B2 그룹
기타 공무원

B3 기타 필수작업자

B4 그룹
노인과 빈곤층을 제외하고 상당한 위험이 있는 사회 인구학적 집단

B5 그룹
해외 필리핀 근로자

B6 그룹
기타 나머지 인력

C 그룹
위 그룹에 별도로 포함되지 않은 나머지 필리핀 인구
