‘Top 10’ barangays with COVID-19 told to report

The Cebu City Emergency Operations Center has called the attention of the “top 10” barangays with the most number of active COVID-19 cases, asking them to make a report on the situation in their localities.

Although called the top 10, there are actually 13 barangays on the list as some of them have the same number of active cases.

The barangays are Guadalupe, Lahug, Talamban, Apas, Bacayan, Tisa, Basak San Nicolas, Banilad, Labangon, Kasambagan, Pasil, Sambag 1, and T.Padilla.

Guadalupe is one of barangays with the most reported cases, logging 38 on Jan. 12, but barangay captain Michael Gacasan said eight of them are already recovering.

세부시 코로나19 관련 비상운영센터는 가장 많은 수의 코로나19 환자를 기록한 상위 10곳의 바랑가이를 공개하여 해당 지역 상황의 보고를 받고, 또한 주의를 환기시키기를 희망했다.

상위 10곳이라고 했지만 실제로는 13곳의 바랑가이가 목록에 포함되었으며, 일부 지역에 동일 수의 활성 코로나19 사례를 기록하고 있기 때문이다.

이들 바랑가이는 Guadalupe, Lahug, Talamban, Apas, Bacayan, Tisa, Basak San Nicolas, Banilad, Labangon, Kasambagan, Pasil, Sambag 1, 그리고 T.Padilla 등지이다.

이들 중 과달루페는 12일 기준 38건의 활성사례를 보이고 있어 가장 많은 확진자를 가진 바랑가이이다.

과달루페의 바랑가이 캡틴은 만약 숫자가 40건 이상으로 올라갈 경우 지역화된 락다운을 다시 재개할 계획이라고 말했다. 과달루페의 확진자들은 대개 의료종사자로부터 가정감염으로 이어졌다.
