세부시경, 올해 세부시 범죄율 감소

CCPO Fewer crimes in Cebu City this year

The crime incidents in Cebu City this year have decreased compared to last year based on the monitoring of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).

Police Lt. Colonel Clark Arriola, information officer of CCPO, cited the quarantine status and more police visibility and augmentation are among the factors that have contributed to the decrease in crime incidents.

This year, the CCPO has recorded a total of 7,762 crime incidents compared to last year’s 12,568.

As to the eight focus crimes, the year 2020 has recorded a total of 1,084 incidents less than last year’s 2,412.

The average monthly index crime for last year was at 20.7 decreasing in almost half for this year at 9.3.

세부시 경찰의 모니터링에 따르면 올해 세부시의 범죄사건은 작년에 비해 감소했다.

세부시경의 정보 담당관은 격리상태와 검역조치, 그리고 더 많은 경찰 인력의 배치와 확대가 범죄사건 감소에 기여한 요인이라고 언급했다.

세부시 범죄사건은 작년 12,568건이었던 것에 비해 올해 총 7,762건을 기록했다.

도난 사건이 올해 503건을 기록해 가장 많은 범죄사례를 기록했지만 작년의 1,347건과 비교해서는 적다.

유괴사건은 작년 범죄 통계와 동일하게 2건 만을 기록해서 가장 적었다.

범죄 사건 해결률도 작년 84.1%에서 올해 90%로 증가했다.

다만 불법 마약 사범의 경우는 올해 총 1,386건을 기록해 지난해 601건 보다 높았다.
