Lapu-Lapu mayor issues EO on guidelines for Misa de Gallo, Simbang Gabi

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan issued on Monday, December 7, 2020, Executive Order (EO) no. 2020-091, that officially allows the conduct of the Misa de Gallo and Simbang Gabi masses here from December 15 to 24, 2020.

The EO establishes the guidelines for the conduct of the dawn and night masses in the city. It also sets the guidelines for the holding of Christmas parties, and other activities related to Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The EO states that the Misa de Gallo shall be held every 4:30 a.m. from December 16 to 24 while Simbang Gabi masses are set at 7:00 p.m. from December 15-24.

Masses to welcome Christmas and New Year on December 24 and December 31, respectively, shall be held at 8 p.m.

The City also encourages churches to stream live their masses for the benefit of those who cannot physically attend the mass celebrations.

The E.O. also allows the holding of masses in Barangay Main Chapels in Olango Island, as alternative venues.

라푸라푸 시의 찬 시장은 12월 7일 발행한 행정명령을 통해 12월 15일부터 24일까지 Misa de Gallo에 참여하는 대중들에게 지침을 발표했다.

Misa de Gallo는 16일부터 24일까지 매일 오전 4시 30분에 열리며, Simbang Gabi 미사는 12월 15일부터 24일까지 매이리 오후 7시에 열린다고 명시하고 있다.

12월 24일과 31일에 열리는 크리스마스와 새해 맞이 미사는 오후 8시에 개최된다.

라푸라푸 시는 미사를 위한 대안 장소로 올랑고 섬과 바랑가이 메인 샤펠에서 미사를 개최하는 것을 허용한다.

Misa de Gallo가 오전 4시 30분에 시작하기 때문에 EO는 도시의 통금시간을 오후 10시에서 오전 4시로 일시적으로 조정했다. 원래 라푸라푸 시의 통금은 오전 5시까지였다.

EO는 비즈니스 또는 상업시설이 대규모 크리스마스 파티 등을 개최하는 것을 금지한다.

만약 12얼 31일 카운트다운 행사를 개최하려는 시설은 먼저 의향서와 활동 계획서, 그리고 2021년 1월 1일 오전 1시이전에 모임을 마치겠다는 각서 등의 서류를 제출하여 시로부터 특별허가를 받아야 한다.

도로, 거리, 공공장소에서의 새해전야 카운트 다운 행사는 금지된다.

명령을 위반하는 시설은 사업허가가 취소될 수 있다.

EO는 라푸라푸 시의 Barangay Babag, Canjulao, 그리고 Mactan Circumferential 도로의 일부를 불꽃 놀이 장소로 지정했다.
